Maryland

Accelerating literacy learning when it matters most. Early screening and evidence-based instruction drive measurable growth in K-3 classrooms.

Overview

The Blueprint for Maryland's Future reinforces the state's focus on evidence-based literacy instruction, structured literacy, and strong family-school partnerships. As districts work to improve reading outcomes and implement these priorities, they need solutions that improve student outcomes while complementing existing district initiatives. Springboard Collaborative helps districts improve student outcomes through evidence-based intervention, family engagement, and educator support that complement Maryland's priorities.

  • Structured literacy, foundational skills instruction, and MTSS-aligned intervention

We deliver small-group literacy support during the school day and through out-of-school-time programming that reinforce district instructional materials and science-of-reading practices.

We provide family literacy workshops, home-reading routines, goal-setting tools, and professional learning that strengthen implementation and literacy outcomes.

What partners say

Springboard creates a space where families feel comfortable coming into the building and talking about literacy. Even parents who may not be strong readers themselves feel comfortable unpacking their struggles and naming them. It's been transformational for our community.
