Overview

California leaders are implementing evidence-based literacy initiatives that emphasize early screening, educator support, multilingual learners, and meaningful family engagement. As districts work to improve reading outcomes while implementing these priorities, they need solutions that accelerate learning while complementing existing district initiatives. Springboard Collaborative enables a proven family-educator partnership that accelerates learning for every child. Through evidence-based tutoring, family engagement, and program-embedded coaching, we help California districts improve reading outcomes while supporting state literacy priorities.   • Local Control Funding Formula (LCFF) Supplemental & Concentration Grants

    Provides flexible funding to support literacy acceleration, intervention services, family engagement, and educator development for high-need student populations.

  • Expanded Learning Opportunities Program (ELO-P)

    Supports afterschool, summer, and expanded learning programs that help students accelerate student outcomes beyond the school day.

  • Learning Recovery Emergency Block Grant (LREBG)

    Funds targeted intervention, tutoring, and learning recovery efforts designed to support students most impacted by unfinished learning.

  • Literacy Coaches and Reading Specialists (LCRS)

    Provides funding to strengthen literacy instruction through coaching, educator support, intervention planning, and implementation of evidence-based reading practices.

  • AB 1454 Evidence-Based Literacy

    Supports science-of-reading aligned instructional materials, TK-5 literacy screening, educator professional learning, and implementation of evidence-based literacy practices.

  • Community Schools Partnership Program (CCSPP)

    Supports family engagement, integrated student supports, and community school strategies that strengthen student outcomes.

  • After School Education and Safety (ASES)

    Funds before- and after-school programs that provide academic support, enrichment, and literacy learning opportunities.

  • Educator Effectiveness Block Grant (EEBG)

    Supports professional learning, instructional coaching, and educator development initiatives that improve literacy instruction.

  • Federal Funding

    Title I, II, III, IV, IDEA, and 21st Century Community Learning Centers, may support evidence-based intervention, educator development, multilingual learner services, family engagement, and expanded learning opportunities.
